NCCTM Math Logo Contest

From hundreds of entries, nine logos were selected as the winners in the 2011 Logo Contest. The 2011 State Winner was:

At the 2011 NCCTM State Conference, the Logo t-shirt was so popular that we ran out of many sizes before some of you were able to purchase a shirt. We have decided to offer you the opportunity to order a t-shirt by completing the attached order form and returning it with your check by November 29th. Your shirts will be mailed to you as soon as they are ready. Checks should be made out to NCCTM; the mailing address for orders is on the order form.

Remember that the shirt was lime green with the black “Math Makes Wonders” logo (at the top of this page).

We have Youth sizes S-M-L and Adult sizes S-M-L-XL-XXL-XXXL.

Shirts are $12 each.

Math Logo Posters 1998-2010 (PDF)

The Celebrate Mathematics Committee sponsors the annual Math Logo Contest. The winning logo will be the mathematics logo for NCCTM for the 2011-12 school year. This logo will be used on a poster to promote interest in mathematics and as the basic design for NCCTM's 2012 T-shirt.

General Rules

Please be aware that a professional graphic artist will prepare the final art of the winning entry for printing. Though the illustration is an important part of the logo, entries are judged on idea or concept conveyed. Use of copyrighted work (clip art, cartoon characters, etc.) will automatically disqualify the entry. The words of the slogan should not be on top of or touch the design.

Download and duplicate the information label and attach to the back of each entry. Entries submitted with incomplete information may be disqualified.

Please submit the entries on 8 1/2 by 11 paper in black ink or black marker only.

Entries must be postmarked by March 1, 2012.
